Big Walk is the big indie release of the week. I find it interesting that there is a big group of people who don't care anymore about how the game looks and are focusing solely on how it plays and what experiences it brings. I guess it’s a good time for every creative person building games.
I guess some people argue that such games do not bring the “cultural value” (in their opinion), but I disagree. First, it is fun. Second, Big Walk specifically has solid game design. Third, I just love how such games are winning without polished graphics and complex narratives. There are many ways to create games, and none is correct. While the game is bringing fun (definition of which is also very subjective), everything is done right.
