PC / Console Games
Control has sold 5 million copies. More than 20 million people have played the game. Remedy Entertainment shared this in its latest report.
The creators of Slay the Princess announced that the game has sold 1 million copies. It took just under two years to hit this milestone.
No Rest for the Wicked’s sales increased by 500,000 copies within 15 days after the release of its co-op mode. Total sales have now reached 1.5 million copies. The studio is self-publishing the game.
According to VG Insights estimates, Quarantine Zone sold 757,000 copies across all platforms in the first two weeks after launch. The key markets are the US, Russia, and Germany.
Absolum, released on October 9, 2025, has sold over 500,000 copies. More than 200,000 copies were sold in the first week.
Cairn sold more than 300,000 copies in the first week after launch (January 29, 2026). The studio shared the update on X.
Knight’s Path has been added to wishlists by more than 300,000 users. It is a narrative-driven medieval action RPG planned for release in 2028–2029.
Mobile Games
Socialpoint celebrated 1 billion total downloads across its games. The company’s flagship title is Dragon City.
Platforms
PlayStation 5 has reached 92.2 million units sold. PlayStation Network MAU hit 132 million, the record number in the company’s history.
As of December 31, 2025, Nintendo Switch 2 had sold 17.37 million units worldwide. Total sales of the original Nintendo Switch reached 155.37 million units, making it the best-selling console in the company’s history. The previous record holder was the Nintendo DS (154.02 million units).
Events
Taipei Game Show 2026 attracted more than 400,000 visitors. The B2B part hosted 2,100 participants from 43 countries.
